Philodendron Selloum are listed under Leafy Tropical on the Jungle & Loom Plant Care Card. They are an excellent plant for beginners as they are very easy to care for, prefer bright indirect light, and don't need to be watered frequently.
Ensure that they receive medium to bright indirect light and only water when the top 3-5 inches of soil are dry. Use well draining/aerated soil, ideally an aroid mix, and a pot with drainage. When the soil is dry ensure you thoroughly saturate when you water, and then do not water again until the soil is sufficiently dry.
Selloums prefer to be very tight in their pots so allow them to become very root bound before you consider moving them up a pot size.
