Platycerium Elephantotis "Elephant Staghorn Fern"

Ferns are listed under the Moisture Loving Tropicals section in the Jungle & Loom Plant Care Card. Place these ferns in medium to bright indirect light, but away from direct sun.  Unlike most houseplants they don't like for their soil to dry out in between waterings.  Ferns like to be moist throughout but not waterlogged.  

Platycerium Elephantotis is rare and unique variety of the family of plants commonly known as "staghorn fern." The Elephant Staghorn Fern has large shield fronds as well as wide, rounded fronds that look more like elephant ears than antlers.
