Calathea are listed under the Moisture Loving Tropicals section in the Jungle & Loom Plant Care Card. They are typically low light tolerant, but unlike most houseplants they don't like for their soil to dry out in between waterings. They are also more susceptible to the wam dry air of heating vents and radiators in the winter.
